Pack Services

We offer backcountry packing trips and guided hunting adventures deep in remote wilderness areas. Travel by horseback, access hard-to-reach country, and experience the true backcountry with reliable support every step of the way.

We offer pack-in and pack-out services for hunters who want to access remote country on their own terms. This service does not include a guide or equipment — just dependable horseback transportation for you and your gear. Each horse can carry up to 150 lbs, and additional horses may be rented at an extra cost if you need to haul more gear.


We’ll pack you and your supplies into the designated area of your choice, drop you off, and return at your scheduled pickup time. When your hunt is complete, we’ll pack out your harvest and gear to the trailhead safely and efficiently.

Pack Outs Information

On-Call Animal Pack Out (All Seasons)


Unit 18 & 28 | Base Rate: $1,050


Let us take the load off and help you get your harvest safely out of the backcountry. Our on-call pack out service is designed for hunters needing reliable, experienced support from the field to the trailhead.


This service covers packing your harvested animal out of the basin to the trailhead only. No riding horses are included.

There is no deposit required, but we strongly recommend reaching out before the season to establish communication and logistics.

Important Notes


  • Your animal must be accessible by horse
  • If trail access is limited and we need to:
  • Cut or create trail
  • Pack quarters up/down steep terrain
  • Perform extra labor

  Additional fees will apply

  • Our scheduled hunts, drop camps, and pre-booked pack trips take priority
  • We will coordinate your pack out as soon as availability allows
  • This has rarely been an issue, but flexibility is important during busy seasons

  • Off-trail access / route cutting: $100/hour

Elk (Bull or Cow) — $1,300


  • Up to 2 packers
